Qualifications, Experience and Language skills
1. Bachelor's Degree - University degree in Radiation Dosimetry or Medical Radiation Physics. Advanced university degree would be an asset.
2. A minimum of five years of relevant work experience in radiation dosimetry.
3. Experience in dosimetry and instrumentation systems pertaining to calibration and auditing.
4. Experience with Quality Management Systems used in radiation dosimetry.
5. Experience as part of a team delivering projects in a relevant area.
6. Experience in contributing to research and development projects related to radiation dosimetry.
7. Experience in mentoring, teaching or tutoring.
8. Excellent oral and written command of English. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.
Remuneration
The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at US $70212 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), a variable post adjustment which currently amounts to US $ 38266*, dependency benefits, rental subsidy, education grant, relocation and repatriation expenses; Other benefits include 6 weeks' annual leave, home leave travel, pension plan and health insurance.
