Overview
Infineon Power & Sensor Systems (PSS) in Villach is seeking motivated students studying Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or related subjects to join a future-oriented company. Be part of a highly motivated and international team focused on data transport, smarter tools and energy-efficient solutions.
In your new role you will
* Assist with setup and operation of test equipment
* Support with designing PCBs for different power converters
* Collect and analyze data from experiments
* Handle troubleshooting of technical issues and identify solutions
* Create and review documentation
* Conduct simulation studies of power electronic circuits
Employment details
Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time or Full-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 12 months
Qualifications and requirements
* Motivated and committed student from Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or similar fields
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Basic knowledge of software tools such as LTspice or SIMetrix, Plecs or MATLAB - Simulink, Altium and similar is advantageous
* Basic mechanical and soldering skills
* Familiarity with power electronics and measurement equipment in a lab environment is a plus
* Motivation to grow into a long-term role at Infineon Technologies Austria AG (2+ year horizon)
* Fluency in English; German is a plus
