This is a fast growing, high impact environment offering exposure to cutting edge technology and the opportunity to work alongside experts at the forefront of the space.RoleThe roleYou will lead the market surveillance and risk management function across the business, playing a key role in protecting market integrity and ensuring regulatory alignment.ResponsibilitiesLeading the market surveillance and risk management framework and functionDesigning and implementing controls to detect market manipulation, abusive behaviour, wash trading, and other suspicious activityOverseeing real time surveillance tools, alerts, and investigation workflowsEnsuring alignment with MiCA risk, conduct, and market abuse requirementsDeveloping and maintaining the enterprise risk management framework, covering operational, market, custodial, and counterparty riskPreparing internal and regulatory reporting on risk indicators, incidents, and mitigation actionsWorking closely with Compliance, Product, and Technology teams as business models and systems evolveRequirementsUniversity degree in Finance, Economics, Law, Risk Management, or a related discipline5 to 8 years of experience in market surveillance, risk management, or compliance within financial services, trading platforms, or digital asset environmentsStrong knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks, including MiCA market abuse rulesHands on experience with surveillance tools and analytical platformsStrong leadership, judgement, and investigative capabilityFluent English, German language skills are strongly preferredOpportunity to work at scale within one of the fastest growing areas of financial servicesExposure to complex regulatory, market, and technology challengesHighly international environment with teams across multiple regionsLean structure that empowers ownership and fast decision makingBenefitsCompetitive compensation and benefitsThe chance to help shape the future of global financial infrastructure
