Test Engineer for Embedded Systems (m/f/d)
Join MED-EL in Innsbruck, Austria to shape the future of hearing technology. This full‑time role (38.5 h) combines software, hardware and automation expertise in an embedded Linux environment.
Responsibilities
* Plan, design and execute comprehensive test strategies to guarantee product quality and reliability.
* Implement and maintain test automation, integrating seamlessly into CI / CD pipelines.
* Analyze test results, prepare clear test reports and maintain thorough documentation.
* Continuously enhance test infrastructure to improve efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
* At least three years of professional experience in embedded software testing in an Embedded Linux environment.
* Proficiency in Python, C, Bash scripting and GIT; knowledge of test frameworks and CI / CD is a plus.
* Hands‑on experience with hardware interfaces such as GPIO, I²C, SPI and debugging tools like logic analyzers.
* Strong communication skills in German and English.

Compensation
Annual gross salary from € 53,650.51 based on professional qualification and experience.
Entry Date
This position will be filled immediately.
Duration
This temporary position is limited until 31‑Mar‑2027.
