Your Responsibilities:
* Apply requirements engineering throughout product development and ensure early system requirement specification
* Define system-level acceptance criteria, break down requirements, and hand over to relevant domains and systems
* Develop system architecture in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Performance & Emissions, Simulation, Design, Controls, etc.)
* Facilitate communication between mechanics, electrics, and software to deliver a verified, validated, and well-documented product
* Assess validation and verification activities to ensure high product quality
* Lead and guide a team of System Engineers, providing technical and disciplinary leadership
* Organize, coordinate, and prioritize team tasks for efficient workflow and goal achievement
* Support team development through coaching, feedback, and targeted training
Your Profile:
* Over 10 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, ideally with leadership responsibility
* Broad engineering background (controls, mechanics, thermodynamics, validation)
* Strong affinity for modern systems engineering tools (PTC Codebeamer/IQuavis MBSE experience beneficial)
* Excellent interpersonal skills to moderate between conflicting interests
* Ability to clarify complex problems and communicate them effectively
* Systems thinking mindset with a focus on customer needs
* Good English language skills required; German is a plus
