The recruiting company Our client is a European start-up specializing in electronic warfare and precision localization in the defense sector, currently building a complete team across several locations.
Key points of the position Reporting to the CEO and CTO, you will contribute to the development of military-grade embedded systems.
As An Embedded Software Engineer, Your Missions Will Include
* Analyzing functional requirements and contributing to technical specifications
* Designing and developing embedded software in C language
* Developing hardware drivers to interface electronic components (MCUs)
* Implementing communication protocols and optimizing timing performances
* Debugging embedded firmware and serial interfaces (SPI, I²C, UART…)
* Supporting integration, testing, and debugging phases
* Contributing to embedded developments linked to an ecosystem of precision localization technologies, including UWB-based systems (no prior UWB experience required)
Necessary Skills
* With a background in electronics or embedded systems, you have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role
* You are proficient in embedded C development (STM32, ESP32, etc.)
* You know how to debug serial interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART…)
* Familiarity with cryptography, TrustZone, or data fusion is considered a plus (but not required)
* Fluent English is imperative
A defense clearance will be necessary for this position. You must have a European Union nationality.
Salary 75-85k euros gross annual
