Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Vienna. The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in SWIFT MT and ISO 20022 MX message formats across multiple financial domains, and hands-on experience in designing and implementing technology solutions for ingesting, transforming, and processing financial messaging data.
Job Responsibilities
* Analyze and interpret SWIFT and ISO 20022 message formats across domains such as Payments, Cash Management, Securities, Corporate Actions, Treasury.
* Collaborate with technology teams to design and implement solutions for message ingestion, transformation, and downstream data processing.
* Define and document business requirements, functional specifications, and data mapping logic.
* Work with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
* Support testing and validation of message transformation logic and data pipelines.
* Provide subject matter expertise on financial messaging standards and regulatory requirements.
* Lead workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder discussions to align on solution design and delivery.
* Contribute to solution architecture discussions involving SWIFT network connectivity and integration.
* Own and manage yearly SWIFT upgrades, ensuring backward compatibility and minimal disruption to business processes.
Key Skills
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services or fintech.
* Strong hands-on experience with SWIFT MT and ISO 20022 MX message formats for domains such as payments, cash management, securities, corporate actions, and treasury.
* Proven experience working on technology solutions for ingesting, transforming, and processing financial messages.
* Great interpersonal skills and team player
* Fluent in English
Desirable Skills
* Experience with financial messaging tools, middleware, and integration platforms.
* Familiarity with SWIFT network connectivity and related integration protocols.
* Curiosity and experience with using AI tools will be big plus
