About the role
We are looking for an experienced Global Category Manager for Energy for East & Central EMEA to join our Energy & Commodities Procurement Team, reporting into the Head of Energy.
The key areas of responsibility will be delivering Category Management within Energy strategy across the East & Central EMEA. As the successful candidate you will demonstrate knowledge within energy and commodities procurement sector.
A key member of the Energy procurement team, you will be responsible for negotiating and supporting the team, utillising your procurement experience in the following areas –
* All physical energy supply contracts within the region
* Managing the whole energy contract process: definition of requirements, RFQ, negotiations and approvals
* Cooperating/driving/supporting local/regional/global energy cost optimization projects/ initiatives
* Supporting centrally managed energy efficiency projects and workstreams
* Supporting the corporate Energy Team to implement its strategies
* Playing a key role as 'Key account' towards internal stakeholders
* Management of claims
* Reporting and Input to the central Energy Management System
* Supporting Energy Tax relief workflows for all sites with the region
* Supporting dedicated Energy Efficiency & Carbon-out projects and workflows

You will demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage a portfolio of existing contracts at a time, supporting local stakeholders with any procurement and contract related issues.
About You
* You will demonstrate experience in a similar Category Management / Procurement position
* You will have experience in negotiating complex energy capex projects
* Full professional proficiency in English and German
* Experience of working within a multi-national environment
* Good commercial judgement and the willingness to use it.
* Grounded, collaborative and comfortable engaging at every level of an organisation.
* High degree of energy and commitment, an ability and willingness to travel and to deliver to tight deadlines.
