Job Title: Manufacturing Process Developer
Key Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot new or existing product issues related to design, materials, and processes.
* Design and implement safe and cost-effective manufacturing equipment and methods.
* Develop process plans for high-volume manufacturing, including operations method sheets, routing, and sequencing.
* Conduct virtual builds and create assembly sequences.
* Analyze operational problems, such as material usage variances, bottlenecks, and fixture issues.
* Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes or resolve problems and implement solutions to reduce costs, improve quality, and cycle time.
* Review and develop designs to enhance product manufacturability and assembly.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate new product builds in pilot production.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 6+ years' experience; or equivalent experience.
* Strong troubleshooting skills in electro/mechanical assemblies.
* Familiarity with manufacturing processes and design for manufacturing and assembly principles.
* Proficient in software applications such as CAD modeling, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), or Product Data Modeling (PDM) systems.
* Experience in Engineering Change Management Process.
* Working knowledge in Operation Method Sheets (OMS), process planning, and Bill of Materials (BOM) Management.
