Operations Engineer – Battery Systems (w/m/d)
(full-time 38.5 hours/week)

CellCube is a global leader in Vanadium Redox Flow Battery (VRFB) technology, offering long-duration energy storage for renewable integration and energy resilience.
Your tasks:
* Monitor battery systems in real-time to detect faults or abnormal conditions
* System configuration and analyze performance data (voltage, current, temperature, cycles) to assess battery health and efficiency
* Diagnose faults by investigating alerts and identifying root causes
* Report findings with clear documentation on faults, performance trends, and recommended actions
* Optimize operations by collaborating on improvements to battery management systems (BMS) and maintenance procedures
* Customer and service partner training
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper record-keeping
You will also share responsibility for remote support at the Battery Operations Center in Wiener Neudorf for global customers (e.g., USA, Europe, South Africa, Australia etc.) as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams and project management and field service engineers.
Your profile:
* Engineering degree (BSc oder B.Eng.) is in electrical engineering/electronics or similar
* 3 years of experience in a similar role in industrial environments
* Technical understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
* PLC or BESS experience would be an advantage
* Strong interest in learning flow battery technology
* Customer orientation and problem-solving skills
* Working as part of a team, as well as independent
* Very good MS-Office knowledge
* Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
* Willingness to travel, if required
* Must comply with all US immigration requirements for ESTA or visa entry
* Valid driving licence (B class)
* Valid work permit (Austria) or EU citizenship
