Tell us about your strengths and apply as a Senior NatCat Quantitative Risk Manager and Deputy of Head NatCat Competence Center (m/f/d)
What to expect:
* Work on Natural Catastrophe risk topics across the Group, applying technical expertise with a clear understanding of regulatory frameworks like Solvency II and ESG
* Take an active, hands-on role in regulatory processes and ad-hoc projects - from model development, data analysis to documentation and stakeholder discussion
* Develop and improve analytical tools in R, Python, SQL and ReMetrica
* Deep expertise in the natural catastrophe models used in the Group's internal model - including their design, assumptions, and impact on overall capital requirements
* Engage with internal teams, regulators, and external providers on a regular basis on technical and methodological matters
* Act as the deputy to the Head of the NatCat Competence Center, stepping in during absences and representing the team internally and externally
* Proven experience with Solvency II regulations, particularly in the context of insurance internal models
* Proficiency in R or Python for statistical modelling and data analysis
* Familiarity with Dynamic Financial Analysis (DFA) tools, such as ReMetrica, or comparable software
* Strong working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation
* Excellent communication skills in both German and English (written and spoken)
