Internship: Electro‑Acoustics & Signal Processing (f/m/div)

In your new role you will:
* Work with experts at a global semiconductor company and leading MEMS microphone supplier to develop and characterize next-generation audio technologies
* Support our team with a strong focus on electro-acoustic lab work and early stage concept development
* Gain insights into the development of MEMS audio products for smartphones, hearables, IoT and automotive applications
* Measure and analyze performance parameters as well as audio quality of existing and next generation microphones
* Work on novel sensing concepts, experiment design, fixture preparation, data processing and visualization (e.g. Python, MATLAB) and listening tests
* Shape the next generation of microphone solutions

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 12 months
You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed master student (f/m/div) from the field of Electronics or Electrical Engineering with focus on Audio Engineering or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:
* Background in acoustics and signal processing
* Lab skills
* Curiosity for state-of-the-art developments of microphone solutions in the semiconductor industry
* Good English skills
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students.
