HR Business Partner – R&D, Product & Strategy, Operations and Enabling Functions (Europe)

We are currently seeking an HR Business Partner (f/m/d) – R&D, Product & Strategy, Operations and Enabling Functions (Europe). This role will serve as a subject‑matter expert on HR operations, handling the full life‑cycle of talent, employee relations, communications, retention, development, and engagement. You will be a trusted partner to business leaders and a sparring partner who aligns regional people practices with global objectives.
This position reports to the Global HR Director, R&D, Product & Strategy, Operations and Enabling Functions, and will be on‑site at our Puch, Austria location.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
* Act as a sparring partner to the business, aligning regional people practices with global business objectives, leading HR activities at multiple sites, and partnering with assigned business unit leaders.
* Define & own actions to proactively support people leaders in workforce planning, organizational design, talent optimization, and staffing plans linked with our Talent Acquisition team.
* Provide day‑to‑day HR guidance to people leaders in talent acquisition, leadership coaching, employee counselling, performance management, career development, change management, compensation, and HR policy guidance.
* Proactively partner and collaborate across the global HR organization, sharing information and delivering thought leadership to optimize the HR function’s business value.
* Partner with Global HR Centers of Excellence on the execution of strategic HR initiatives.
* Drive improvements within your scope to ensure legal compliance while enhancing the experience for employees and people leaders.
* Collaborate with local works councils and employee representations.
The Essential Requirements Of The Role Include
* Degree in HR or Business Administration (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner/Manager in Austria and multi‑country environments, supporting global organisations with a focus on HR operations and business partnering.
* Broad understanding of technical and functional HR components, including recruiting, talent management, organisational design/development, succession planning, leadership development, compensation, and associate communications.
* Experience managing change/project initiatives and change management in a multicultural environment.
* Proven ability to work in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
* German and English language proficiency is required; additional languages, especially French, are welcomed.
* Knowledge of labour laws across the UK, Austria, Germany, and Belgium, and experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as DBS, Lean Six Sigma, or similar.
The collective agreement for employees in the electrical and electronics industry applies to this position. The minimum basic salary is €4,341.85 gross per month, with a willingness to over‑pay the collective agreement.
