Network Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Vienna, Austria. Fluent in English. Work will be conducted either in the company's premises or on site at customer premises.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and troubleshoot errors and performance issues in the applications and coordinate efforts to fix them.
* Coordinate change requests for infrastructure component upgrades or additions with the Solution Architect, Technical Leads, and System Engineering Team.
* Gather requirements for upcoming software products and coordinate the setup of the target environments.
* Modify and enhance Team Foundation Server's build process templates, including testing, build metrics, and deployment package generation.
* Modify and enhance the automated deployment tools to enable a smooth, continuous deployment of new software packages.
* Coordinate deployments across various development teams.
Requirements
* University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in IT.
* Expert knowledge and minimum 5 years of experience installing, configuring, customizing, upgrading, troubleshooting and managing software systems.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Configuration Management.
* Experience with monitoring systems such as Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager and with network monitoring systems such as SolarWinds.
* Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience on Cisco routing and switching technologies.
* Experience with ITIL and knowledge of industry and governance best practices and IT infrastructure and software security.
* Experience with Checkpoint and Cisco Datacenter.
* Required certification: Cisco professional certification (CCNP or higher).
* Certifications in Project Management (PMP/Prince2) considered asset.
* Excellent command of the English language.
