Senior Firmware Engineer

Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing new secure embedded firmware applications in C
- Preparing source code documentation
- Preparing, presenting, and participating in technical discussions and code reviews
- Analyzing and evaluating software requirements; collaborating with colleagues and customers to gather and define product requirements
- Assisting in product design and architecture development
- Proactively providing status, raising issues, and communicating necessary information to appropriate team members on a regular basis
- Developing test fixtures in C and higher-level object-oriented language (e.g., C# or Python)
- Supporting the design and development of auxiliary desktop engineering tools
Qualifications
- 3+ years of software development with experience in embedded microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M, RISC-V, etc.)
- Excellent programming and debugging skills in the C programming language
- Familiarity with source code management, bug tracking, project planning, and continuous integration tools
- Assembly language knowledge
- Knowledge of higher-level languages (e.g., C# or Python)
- Experience with secure elements
- Experience with embedded RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, etc.)
- Proficiency in communication protocols (I2C, SPI, ISO7816/14443, NFC, BLE, etc.)
- Applied cryptography knowledge
