Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing new secure embedded firmware applications in C
• Preparing source code documentation
• Preparing, presenting, and participating in technical discussions and code reviews
• Analyzing and evaluating software requirements; collaborating with colleagues and customers to gather and define product requirements
• Assisting in product design and architecture development
• Proactively providing status, raising issues, and communicating necessary information to appropriate team members on a regular basis
• Developing test fixtures in C and higher-level object-oriented language (e.g., C# or Python)
• Supporting the design and development of auxiliary desktop engineering tools

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development with experience in embedded microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M, RISC-V, etc.)
• Excellent programming and debugging skills in the C programming language
• Familiarity with source code management, bug tracking, project planning, and continuous integration tools
• Assembly language knowledge
• Knowledge of higher-level languages (e.g., C# or Python)
• Experience with secure elements
• Experience with embedded RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, etc.)
• Proficiency in communication protocols (I2C, SPI, ISO7816/14443, NFC, BLE, etc.)
• Applied cryptography knowledge
