This is the impact you will have in this position
* Your work will significantly shape and enhance our Marketplaces products - jobs.derStandard.at, finden.at, and immobilien.derStandard.at
* You’ll implement and improve user-facing features with a focus on performance, accessibility, and responsive design, helping thousands of users enjoy a seamless experience across our platforms
* You’ll have a say in technical decisions, including our frontend stack, tooling, and coding standards
* You’ll play a key role in translating product ideas into well-crafted, high-quality code - always with an eye on scalability and long-term maintainability
What we are looking for
* 3-5 years of experience developing modern web applications in a team environment
* Strong experience with a modern frontend framework (e.g., React)
* Solid, hands-on experience with Node.js
* Experience with Next.js is highly preferred
* Experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflows
* Familiarity with GraphQL, AWS, and token-based authentication methods (e.g., JWT, OAuth) is a plus
* Proficiency in TypeScript, with a strong grasp of component-based architecture and design systems
* Comfortable taking end-to-end responsibility - from software design and development to deployment, monitoring, debugging, and handling migrations
* Committed to writing performant, accessible, and maintainable frontend code
* Comfortable working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development workflows
* Interested in contributing to the long-term product vision from a frontend perspective

* Atlassian tools: Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence
* IDE/AI: Visual Studio Code, Windsurf, Copilot, ChatGPT
