Overview
As a Site Project Manager (m/f/d), your typical day begins at a construction site. You will plan and organize daily site activities with your team, serve as the main point of contact for customers, authorities, contractors, and partners on-site, and coordinate closely with the project management team in the back office.
Responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for all onsite works within the Erection & Commissioning team
* Legal responsibility for the project site and all site staff, and responsibility for on-site order implementation, financial results, time schedule and quality results related to the Siemens Energy scope of work using standardized tools
* Ensure compliance with the requirements, regulations and procedures governing occupational environmental health and safety (EHS) while promoting and leading the Zero Harm Culture for the scope within your responsibility
* Representation of the interests of Project Management on site to the customer, authorities, contractors, partners, and consultants
What You Bring
* Educational background in the fields of electrical or civil engineering and at least 5 years onsite experience in a leading position (Electrical/Civil site lead) on major construction sites
* Extensive experience in construction of complex industrial projects (preferable for High voltage direct current (HVDC) power transmission projects) EPC and/or Consortium projects
* In depth knowledge and competence in EHS policies, practices, regulations and plans for onsite works for complex construction projects
* Proven experience in leading multinational teams in a quick changing environment and excellent communication and leadership skills
* Willingness to work in and outside of Austria at construction sites
* Advanced German and good English skills

At Siemens Energy we offer competitive compensation and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. Due to Austrian legal regulations, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry is 54,986.06€ gross/year for a full-time position (38.5 h/week). There is potential for higher compensation depending on your experience, expertise, and skills.
