Overview
RA Associate Director (d/f/m) - temporary for 1 year at Sandoz Österreich. This is a fixed-term position limited to one year.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as independent lead, strong influencer, negotiator, and collaborator in a matrix environment beyond function/area of expertise for the topics listed by the role.
* Implement, transform and improve processes, training, policies, guidelines and metrics to maximize efficiency and compliance at global, regional and local levels.
* Establish, strengthen and maintain a Quality Strategy and a Quality Management System with stakeholders to set thresholds for quality compliance in Sandoz Regulatory Affairs (RA).
* Build strong interfaces within RA functions and QA, and with Development, Pharmacovigilance, Medical, TechOps and country organizations/other functions as required.
* Prepare and follow up on audits and inspections within Sandoz RA in collaboration with stakeholders and SMEs from other RA and non-RA functions, including management and implementation of corrective actions.
* Meet internal and external guidelines regarding quality and safety and promote compliance with Quality Manual, regulatory guidelines, regulations, Health Authority guidance and SOPs.
* Guide and support SMEs across functions to focus on actions independently and make decisions in a compliant manner.
* Advocate a quality culture throughout Sandoz RA.
Essential Requirements
* Scientific academic degree in life sciences (chemistry, pharmacy, biology, or equivalent qualifications).
* Extensive experience in Pharmaceutical Industry + Regulatory Affairs (>5 years), with additional experience in quality/compliance and/or operational/process excellence.
* Experience working in a matrix environment.
* Strategic leadership skills and strong stakeholder management.
* High adaptability in a dynamic environment.
* Ability to manage operational and strategic workload, prioritization and decision making.
* Strong communication skills for complex topics.

Salary
In accordance with Austrian law, the minimum salary is EUR 78,383.90/year (full-time). The actual salary will be higher based on experience and qualifications.
