About the Role
The Regional Sales Manager is a home-office based position responsible for driving sustainable business growth with new and existing B2B customers across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The role focuses on selling cloud native consulting services, subscriptions, and managed services while building long-term partnerships and expanding market presence in the DACH region.
Responsibilities
* Support and expand the B2B and corporate customer portfolio in the region, from growing tech startups to global manufacturers and leading companies in finance and insurance.
* Build long-term relationships with customers, partners, and vendors on an equal footing.
* Sell consulting services, subscriptions, and managed services using a Land & Expand strategy.
* Provide strategic support to key accounts and manage stakeholders.
* Act as the central interface between customers, partners, and internal teams.
* Drive sales and profit development and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Prepare, calculate, and follow up on proposals.
* Lead pricing and contract negotiations in complex deals.
* Coordinate order, billing, and renewal processes.
* Maintain customer, opportunity, and documentation data in the CRM.
* Optimize cost, pricing, margins, and subscription models.
* Actively prospect and process qualified leads, documenting them in the CRM.
* Implement sales promotion measures with marketing and partners.
* Represent our client at events, trade shows, and partner events.
* Expand the sales pipeline and market presence in the DACH region.
Profile
* Completed advanced vocational training and/or university degree.
* Strong customer focus and relevant professional sales experience, ideally in IT or software.
* Practical experience in pricing, quotations, and CRM systems.
* Strong business acumen, affinity for numbers, and interest in economics.
* High affinity for IT, strong willingness to learn, and motivation for continuous professional development.
* Structured, precise, and independent working style with a clear sales mindset.
* Good understanding of customer needs and buying processes.
* Professional appearance, excellent communication skills, and enjoyment of interacting with people.
* Strong team spirit and ability to collaborate inside and outside the sales team.
* Excellent German language skills (C1 or above) and good English skills (B2 or above).
* Willingness to travel.
* Must be based in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland.
