As a Process Quality Engineer for the CMOS front-end wafer production line, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of process quality and reliability across semiconductor manufacturing operations at site Premstätten. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including process engineering, process integration, production and failure analysis to monitor, analyze and improve process performance, yield and compliance with internal and customer requirements.
Participating in risk assessments, MRB's (Material Review Board) and PCRB (Process Change Management Board) as accountable for CMOS quality
Quality Assurance:
Participate in and lead 8D teams to find root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process-related quality issues
Ensure proper usage of quality tools and business processes like Change Management, 8D, SPC, FDC, FMEA and DOE to drive continuous improvement
Support internal and external audits, including customer quality assessments and ISO/IATF compliance
Collaborate with process and yield engineers to identify yield detractors and implement improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate documentation of quality procedures, specifications and process changes and prepare regular reports on process quality performance and improvement activities for internal and external stakeholders
Interface with R&D, production and customer quality teams to ensure smooth technology transfers and ramp-up of new CMOS processes
Provide quality input during new product introduction (NPI) and process qualification phases.
~ Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, materials science, physics, or related field
~Strong knowledge of SPC, FMEA, 8D and other quality tools
~ Fluent in German and English (both verbal and written)
