About the Role
We support clients with complex health conditions, intellectual disabilities, autism, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and clients with significant behaviours of concern in a structured, contained environment.
You will work collaboratively with a skilled team to deliver current, complete, correct and compliant internal and external reporting, data analysis and recommendations to ensure legislative compliance and the highest standard of care for our clients

About you:
Proven experience in conducting impartial investigations
Ability to compile and interpret information to deliver accurate, complex responses
Proficient in delivering information with clarity and professionalism
Exceptional attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Delivery of objective analysis of complex issues to support informed decision-making.
The ability to manage competing work priorities to meet strict deadlines, in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated experience in providing guidance and support to all areas of the organisation when required
Healthcare/Disability Services and not for profit organisational experience
You will have a good working knowledge of the application of Federal and State Disability and Human Rights legislation and associated compliance reporting including:
Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld and Victoria)
National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 and Amendments
National Disability Insurance Scheme Rules and Regulations
NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators
International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities
Key Responsibilities:
Reportable incidents and NDIS Commission communications are actioned within the required timeframes using the appropriate style and channel
Provide final approval and submit Unauthorised Restrictive Practices reportable incidents to the NDIS Commission Portal within the required timeframes
Investigate and draft correspondence for significant/high risk reportable incidents
Draft State compliant restrictive practices application documentation, and the corresponding supporting documentation
Ensure any Short-Term Approval Notice of Decision conditions are met within the specified timeframes
Review, investigate and draft relevant compliance responses as requested
Undertake quality check and version control all internal documentation
Draft/Sign/Submit guardianship appointment or review documents for final sign off
Hours of Work
Hours are flexible depending on organisational requirements but are generally between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
NOTE: There will be times when the required work falls outside of these hours.
What You’ll Need:
Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Forms, Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)
Advanced skills in Adobe Acrobat for PDF creation and editing
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain)
Working with Children Check Clearance (or willing to obtain)
Current Driver License
Willingness to travel between sites
