Qualifications, Experience and Language skills
1. Completed secondary education. Post-secondary education or specialized training in analytical chemistry and inorganic mass spectrometry an asset.
2. Minimum of five years of experience in precise isotope analysis, preferably by thermal ionization mass spectrometry and/or inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry.
3. Demonstrated hands-on experience in the analysis of radionuclides.
4. Experience in metrology and uncertainties in measurements.
5. Demonstrated knowledge of hardware and experience in troubleshooting of TIMS and ICP-MS equipment a strong asset.
6. Experience in procuring supplies an asset.
7. Excellent oral and written command of English. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.
8. Testing to IAEA standard may be part of the process.
Remuneration
The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at EUR 57876 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), 6 weeks' annual vacation, pension plan and health insurance.
