About this opportunity
As a part of the Project Management team assigned to the data centre construction project, you will be responsible for overseeing the sourcing, procurement and contracts support.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Services and OFCI equipment procurement & contracting strategy development
* Strategic Sourcing
* Development of pricing mechanisms
* Optioning and cost benefit analysis
* Cost forecasting
* Preparing contract documents and drafting terms and conditions
* Collating the invitation to tender packages
* Development of selection and evaluation criteria
* Managing tender clarifications/returns and down selection process
* Negotiation and award of contracts
* Oversight of subcontracting arrangements and procurement planning
* Business case and stakeholder management support
* Contract oversight
* Ensure contract compliance and oversee the assurance process
* Draft and issue project correspondence on behalf of the client
* Contract management
* Claims preparation and assessment
* Change control and variation management
* Subcontracting strategy, oversight & approvals
* Pro-active commercial risk management
* Lead Project meetings as appropriate

Who we’re looking for
Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills
* 10+ years of experience in Procurement, Cost, Supply Chain, and Commercial Management - ideally both pre- and post-contract.
* Previous experience in providing sourcing, procurement and contracts management support to large-scale construction programs and projects.
* Should have knowledge of international construction industry standards and practices.
* Direct experience in data centre construction is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
* Methodical way of thinking and approach to work.
* Excellent problem-solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skills
* Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Fluency in English.
* Eligible to work in Austria.
Qualifications
* Engineering degree or technical education in a construction-related field
