With strong expertise in software project management and automotive development standards (A-SPICE, ISO 26262), they drive innovation in both processes and functionality, enhancing efficiency, safety, and performance. Excellent English and at least good German skills enable effective communication in an international environment.
Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of software development engineers in the automotive sector, ensuring compliance with relevant industry processes and standards (e.g. A-SPICE, IATF 16949, ISO 26262)
Define and drive the strategic direction of products and services, taking into account both emerging and legacy technologies
Actively contribute to the negotiation of project scope and timelines (FIP) during the acquisition phase
Foster innovation in the software development process by improving efficiency in processes, methods, tools, and certifications
Promote innovation in software functionality to enhance battery safety, performance, and lifetime
Develop and align optimized software qualification methods and processes in close collaboration with the Verification & Validation team
Qualifications Completed technical education
Proven experience in leading larger teams of software development engineers (currently ~30 employees)
Strong background in software project management within the automotive industry
Solid knowledge of automotive software development environments and tools
Strategic, innovative, and cost-conscious mindset with a future-oriented perspective
Excellent English skills and at least good German skills
