1. Participate in the strategic management of the Pumps Cyclone Valves business in region of ECANA, monthly management reporting etc.
2. Develop, train, and lead PC&V site sales and site support personnel.
3. Lead PC&V site sales and site support activities in Europe.
4. Promote Pumps Cyclone Valves products/services in the region to all customers.
5. Drive site support teams to defend existing installation base and site sales to convert competitor PC&Vs.
6. Support inventory management to ensure competitive lead times on aftermarket parts and conversion opportunities.
7. Collaborate with global product line managers (GPLM), global service line managers (GSLM), product sales, service sales and internal sales support to develop winning proposals.
8. Travel to customer sites and engineering firms to troubleshoot, consult on system design, support start-ups as necessary, and ensure proper aftermarket support is in place, including warranty/quality issue resolution.
Requirements:
9. Relevant Bachelor of Science Engineering degree or equivalent knowledge/work experience.
10. Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in a Sales environment.
11. Acquire the latest product information with emphasis on technical advantage, industry quality standards, certifications, pricing, and delivery.
12. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers.
13. Knowledge of competitor's equipment to help define value proposition for FLSmidth offering.
14. Ability to read and interpret engineering/mechanical drawings, understand equipment manuals and familiarity with parts lists.
15. Must be competent in account management & territory planning, be able to organize sales strategies and possess exceptional presentation skills.
16. Must be a self-starter and problem-solver who keeps the customers’ best interests at heart.
17. Communicates proactively & regularly with inside sales, engineering and management teams.
18. Complete regular entries and updates in CRM system to include contacts, appointments and opportunities.
19. Displays honesty, ethics and integrity at all times.
20. Knowledge of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programme will be advantageous.
21. Computer literate in MS Office. Completion & regular updates of comprehensive account plans for key accounts.
22. Work in a team environment to extract maximum sales potential through collaboration with other FLSmidth staff, product companies and divisions.
23. Valid driver’s license
