Group Regulatory Compliance is responsible for steering regulatory compliance risks acc. to § 39 Abs. 6 BWG. The unit regularly monitors compliance risks in Erste Group's processes using internal and external control frameworks. Regulatory compliance risks are regularly assessed in a holistic risk assessment and reported to both internal management and external stakeholders. When necessary - the unit initiates and tracks mitigation measures to ensure a prudent management of compliance risks. As part of the Regulatory Compliance Function, you use your regulatory, legal and/or compliance expertise to ensure Erste Group's compliance with banking regulation. You contribute to a great team of experts to form a future-fit compliance function of Erste Group and its subsidiaries. In specific your tasks include * Monitoring relevant banking regulation, assessing the applicability to Erste Group, managing the bank-internal gapping process, and tracking the implementation within the bank * Monitoring of compliance risks on a regular basis for a specific subset of regulatory topics * Contributing to the management reporting and the bank's risk assessment * Setting of group standards through policies and other guidelines * Assessing and driving further usage and implementation of technology in the area of relevant reg-tech Your Background * University degree in law or business * Minimum of 5 years industry experience, including in (regulatory) compliance, risk management or related areas * You have a high degree of banking/regulatory expertise and a good understanding of regulatory compliance risks * You are passionate about banking regulation (CRR/CRD, BWG and related guidelines) and related topics (i.a. Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Own Funds Requirements, Disclosures, Regulatory Reporting, ICAAP/ILAAP/SREP, Remuneration, ESG/Sustainability) and assessing their impact on Erste Group * You demonstrate the ability to independently manage internal processes and to prepare presentation materials for senior management * You are curious about new technology and know your way around Microsoft Office 365 applications (we highly welcome previous experience in working with SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, Power BI and Power Automate) * Fluent in English and German (any CEE language would be an advantage) Our Offer * We are committed to support you in your professional and personal development * We offer the opportunity to work with a highly motivated and ambitious multi-national team * Discover and enjoy the benefits of Erste Group * The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 49.772,80 gross per year.
