About the Role
The Executive Assistant to General Manager – CSA Mine is responsible for day-to-day coordination and administrative support for the site General Manager, working closely with site leadership, regional office, contractors and external stakeholders. This role supports operational rhythm, leadership effectiveness, communication, and organisation across the site.
Roster
This role will be based onsite in Cobar, NSW, working an 8/6-day FIFO roster from Brisbane or Sydney with local candidates highly regarded. Local candidates will be offered a 5/2 Monday to Friday roster.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the General Manager’s calendar, meetings, travel and daily commitments to ensure time is used effectively and priorities are well coordinated.
* Provide high-level administrative support including preparation of agendas, presentations, briefing packs, reports, correspondence and other executive materials.
* Act as a key liaison point between the General Manager and internal and external stakeholders, ensuring professional, timely and confidential communication at all times.
* Coordinate leadership meetings, site visits, executive visits and stakeholder engagements, including logistics, documentation and follow-up actions.
* Assist with corporate reporting, document control, purchase orders, invoice processing and other administrative systems as required.
* Support the preparation and quality control of site-wide communications issued on behalf of the General Manager.
* Coordinate events, leadership activities and business functions that support engagement across the operation.
* Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion in relation to operational, commercial, people and leadership matters.
* Identify opportunities to improve administrative systems, planning routines and executive support processes to enhance efficiency across the office of the General Manager.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should be self-motivated and able to work efficiently and collaboratively in a team environment with the following skills and experience:
* Demonstrated administrator experience supporting a General Manager or senior leader.
* Experience working in mining, resources, construction, industrial, manufacturing or other operational environments with competing priorities and time-critical deliverables.
* Exceptional calendar, travel and meeting coordination skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and proactively manage changes.
* Strong capability in preparing polished reports, presentations, correspondence and briefing papers for executive audiences.
* Proven ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with maturity and sound judgment.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build credibility across site teams, corporate office contacts and external parties.
* High attention to detail, strong organisational discipline and the ability to manage multiple tasks without compromising quality.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
* A proactive, self-directed and solutions-focused working style.
