Team Lead for Digital Business-Unit (all genders). Start immediately. Total hours available full-time 36 h week. Location Vienna.
As Team Lead of our new Digital Business Unit in Vienna, you will build an independent, high-performance unit. You will put together a team consisting of project management, consulting and development staff and develop it further with initial customer projects – supported by management and People & Culture. Your focus will be on digital projects with impact, developing platforms, campaign and personalisation pages, e-commerce solutions, PIM integrations and services that are technically sound, user-centred and brand-strong. You will use AI in a targeted manner to accelerate, improve quality and optimise customer experiences. Vienna is a dynamic, performance-oriented market. Your tasks
Team building and recruiting: Establish the new digital business unit in Vienna and give it a clear structure, identify talent, oversee recruitment of project managers and developers, and ensure sustainable, healthy team growth.
Leadership and team development: Lead your team both professionally and personally, set clear quality standards and establish processes that enable focus, efficiency and accountability.
Coaching and competence development: Support your team in their professional and personal development, promote modern working methods in e-commerce, UX/UI, data models, PIM and AI-based processes.
Organisation and structure: Responsible for resource planning, capacities and the budget, and ensure lean, scalable structures from consulting and budgeting to conception and technical implementation.
Processes and communication: Transform existing processes in Vienna and optimise collaboration between customers, project management and your team; automation, efficiency and measurable quality are at the forefront.
Interdisciplinary collaboration: Work closely with pixelart experts from data, analytics, tracking, performance, technology, content and creative to develop user-centred, technologically clean digital solutions.
Consulting, business development and pitches: Actively involved in consulting, workshops, conception processes and business development; play a central role in pitches, preparing quotations, budgeting and developing solutions, and take a leading role in tenders.
Collaboration with the leadership team: Work closely with the leadership team, using them as sparring partners and accelerators for efficient work and sustainable growth.
What you can contribute
Strategic thinking and consulting quality: Understand how brand management, KPIs, technology, data structures, e-commerce, UX/UI and customer journeys interact and translate these perspectives into customer and company goals.
Leadership experience: Several years of experience in the digital environment – ideally in agencies or e-commerce and technology settings – and have successfully built and led teams and digital organisational structures.
People and team skills: Lead clearly, empathetically and with high standards and our shared values, creating an environment in which people can work independently, in a customer‑oriented manner and with confidence.
Organisational and structural strength: Work in a structured manner, plan ahead and keep a reliable eye on resources, priorities and processes.
Coaching skills: Recognise potential, promote individual development and actively support your team in their professional and personal development.
Strong communication skills: Communicate clearly and in a manner appropriate to the target group – internally, with customers and in pitches or presentations.
Business development skills: Consulting, workshops, tendering, budgeting, pitch arguments and dealing with tenders are part of your routine.
Change and growth mindset: Pragmatically integrate new ways of working, such as AI‑supported processes and automated workflows, into everyday life.
Hands‑on leadership: Make decisions, remain confident even in dynamic situations, and pitch in when projects, requirements, or team dynamics require it.
German language skills at a minimum C1 level (due to our corporate language and current client structure).
Our Offer
Full-time position with an annual salary starting at €70,000 gross (including holiday pay and Christmas bonus) and a performance‑based bonus. We also provide you with a fully electric company car (including private use). Your actual salary will depend on your qualifications and experience.
