Job Description
We are looking for an IT Workplace Expert (f/m/d) to join our team.
Your Tasks:
* Design & Architecture Tasks:
o Further develop the Microsoft SCCM and Intune strategy, with the goal of fully replacing SCCM with Intune within three years.
o Design a new deployment and provisioning strategy for computers using Microsoft Autopilot and other Intune tools and features.
o Design and optimize the workplace infrastructure to support scalability, security, and an enhanced user experience.
o Develop and maintain compliance and configuration policies in Intune.
o Work closely with cross-functional teams to align workplace solutions with business requirements.
o Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve the digital workplace.
o Contribute to the strategic roadmap for workplace services and automation.
* Operational Tasks:
o Manage and maintain the digital workplace infrastructure framework, including Windows client systems and peripheral hardware.
o Perform device staging and provisioning.
o Ensure compliance through Intune policies and patch management.
o Onboard and manage non-Windows devices (e.g., macOS, iOS, Android) within Intune.
o Provide third-level support and troubleshooting for workplace hardware globally, including printers, displays, and accessories.
Your Profile:
* Educational Background: Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
* Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, especially in: Autopilot staging, Software deployment, Patch management, Compliance policies, Non-Windows device management.
* Solid experience with SCCM, particularly in: Software packaging and deployment & Device staging and updating.
* Deep understanding of Windows client operating systems (Windows 10/11).
* Familiarity with workplace hardware components (printers, monitors, docking stations, etc.).
* Desirable: Knowledge of Citrix environments and virtual desktop infrastructure.
* Good English language skills (German language skill is beneficial).
