Regional business insights manager human pharma

The position


For our Regional Analytics & Insights team in Human Pharma, we are seeking as of now for a Business Insights Manager who is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights for key business stakeholders such as Marketing, Commercial, Medical and Market Access areas. You will be under the supervision of HP A&I Team Lead, but with a high level of autonomy and pro-activity.


Tasks & responsibilities

* Lead insights generation across the region and act as a partner to the business, drawing conclusions from the data/ insights and making business recommendations
* Lead discussions on analytics and insights topics support steering the region towards becoming an insights-driven organization
* Anticipate business needs and flag market changes by providing tools that transform challenges into opportunities. Analyse, conclude and advise which data, reports, insights can answer key business questions
* Leverage the appropriate data sources to support analysis and build actionable reports/ recommendations (e.g. market research, field force activity, internal and external sales, etc.)
* Lead the yearly regional forecasting process for key assets, working in collaboration with stakeholders – set the E2E process according to corporate guidelines and business priorities


Requirements

* B.A. required - MBA or other advanced degree preferred - in fields such as Economics, Statistics, Finance, minimum 3 years expertise in equivalent role in Pharma combined with comprehensive project management experience
* Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including forecasting, brand commercialization, and market dynamics. Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to identify business opportunities, frame questions, and quantify market impacts
* Excellent analytical and conceptual abilities, capable of connecting diverse data sources into actionable insights. Familiarity with pharma-specific datasets (e.g., CRM and market sales data), and experience in market research projects
* Skilled in reporting tools like Tableau and Power BI, with experience in data manipulation and basic SQL. Additional capabilities in Python, R, and data science are a plus
* Strong communication skills in English (German and other languages are a plus), with proven ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively in cross-functional, matrixed environments

The remuneration for this position starts at EUR gross annual target salary per year (full time). The actual salary package depends on professional experience and qualifications. We will be happy to discuss further details in person.
