98% export rate – our custom-built machines are shipped all over the world! You will lead our Packing & Transport team and play an active part in day‑to‑day operations, contribute your own ideas, and continuously refine our processes with a focus on efficiency, growth, and the future.
Responsibilities
* Providing technical and managerial leadership and overseeing the development of a 4‑person team
* Ensuring the smooth operation of international shipping, including active involvement in day‑to‑day operations
* Preparing shipping and customs documents as well as preferential tariff calculations
* Independently planning and scheduling our global transport orders (land, air, and sea freight as well as parcels)
* Optimizing and further developing processes with a focus on efficiency and future viability
* Selecting, organizing, and managing external service providers (e.g. freight forwarders, logistics partners, government agencies)
* Close collaboration and coordination with internal departments (e.g. sales, production, warehouse)
Qualifications
* A completed education with a focus on export/shipping/transport (apprenticeship, HAK, HTL, or similar)—though your practical experience is more important
* Several years of professional experience in international shipping; knowledge of customs clearance is a plus
* Some leadership experience is a plus – alternatively, you are ready to take the next step toward team leadership
* Clear communication, a responsible work ethic, and a passion for achieving goals together as a team
* Strong written and verbal skills in German and English
* Proficiency with MS Office; ideally, also with SAP
