oftware Engineer CAM / Production (f/m/d)
In your role, your solutions will drive smarter production, shape high-end PE/CAM systems, and turn complexity into smooth operations.
Your Responsibilities
* Create and use automation scripts to make PE/CAM processes faster and reduce mistakes
* Improve and update internal PE/CAM tools to make them easier and more efficient for users
* Analyze how PE/CAM processes work and find ways to make them better
* Keep your own tools up to date so they match current production needs
* Help set clear rules for how software is built and documented
* Build and manage databases to organize important PE/CAM data
* Work with other departments to check if ideas are technically possible and help connect systems
* Be the main contact for IT and external partners to keep systems secure and running smoothly
Your Profile
* Completed technical education (e.g. HTL, HTBLA, FH, or university) or several years of relevant work experience
* Knowledge of an object-oriented programming language, ideally Java
* Experience with modern development tools such as Git, Maven, and Azure DevOps (CI/CD)
* Understanding of relational databases like MSSQL
* Experience with Perl and Shell scripting is a plus
* Familiarity with GNU/Linux systems and Windows Server is an advantage
* Good spoken and written German and English skills for internal and external communication
