Qualifications, Experience and Language skills
Master's Degree - Advanced university degree in sciences (e.g. physics, chemistry), nuclear engineering, accounting, information science, computer science, international relations or a related field.
Bachelor's Degree - University degree in a stipulated field with two years of additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the nuclear industry or a national or international organization in information management and analysis related to nuclear non-proliferation issues, nuclear material accounting or nuclear related research.
At least five years of experience in information collection, processing, and analysis, including processing and analysing information in complex databases.
Demonstrated ability in leading teams and producing high-quality analytical and technical reports.
Proven experience in and knowledge of procedures for handling sensitive information.
Familiarity with IT systems that support the handling and evaluation of large data sets an asset.
Excellent oral and written command of English. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.
Remuneration
The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at US $103165 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), a variable post adjustment which currently amounts to US $ 53749*, dependency benefits, rental subsidy, education grant, relocation and repatriation expenses; Other benefits include 6 weeks' annual leave, home leave travel, pension plan and health insurance.
