Job Overview
Join the VOQUZ Group as a Linux Administrator and contribute to our stable and secure Linux platform.
Responsibilities
* Bring your experience in operating and expanding our Linux platform – in daily operations and in projects.
* Support our developers in technical challenges: from setting up new systems to adjusting the infrastructure and troubleshooting.
* Work closely with the team to ensure our platform remains stable, secure and future‑proof.
Qualifications
* More than several years of experience in Linux system administration, preferably focussed on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
* LPIC or RHCSA/RHCE certifications are nice to have – not a must.
* Knowledge of high‑availability setups and load‑balancing technologies.
* Familiarity with container tools such as Podman or Kubernetes.
* Automation skills – enjoy working with Ansible.
* Security is more than a buzzword – experienced with PKI, system hardening and SecOps.
* Fluent in German (C‑Level) and can also communicate in English.
* Detail‑oriented, analytical problem‑solver who enjoys teamwork.
Must‑haves
* EU citizenship.
* German (C‑Level).
* Location: Vienna.
Employment Details
* Type: Full‑time (38.5 h/week).
* Hybrid: approx. 3‑4 days on‑site per week.
* Start: ASAP – long‑term.
* Client: Public (with SÜ).
* Availability for on‑call after initial onboarding.
