The Sales Director at Denodo will be responsible for the management and execution of direct sales in the assigned region.

We are seeking high-performance candidates with a track record of exceeding sales targets in enterprise software over the past five years. Candidates must have a solid background in data integration, data analytics, and data management, with proven experience engaging with potential customers, partners, and prospects in the assigned region. The ideal candidate should have excellent presentation and communication skills to handle the entire sales process from business development, prospecting, and qualifying to negotiations and closing.

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced sales and marketing leadership and be supported by a strong technical team in a fast-paced and rapidly growing company, providing opportunities for professional development and success.

This is an individual contributor sales role.


Job Responsibilities & Duties

* Develop, maintain, and implement strategic sales plans for the assigned territory.
* Research and identify customer prospects and targets.
* Meet individual sales quotas based on corporate and regional revenue targets.
* Achieve new customer acquisition targets and implement expansion strategies.
* Collaborate with partner channels sales team to identify, onboard, and drive revenue through channel and alliance partners, both direct and indirect.
* Set and execute customer acquisition strategies across direct inbound and partner ecosystems within the assigned accounts and territory.
* Develop and maintain sales forecasts for assigned accounts and territory.
* Measure and report on sales results and plan execution.

* 10+ years of results-driven enterprise software sales experience.
* 5+ years of experience in selling enterprise software.
* Good knowledge of Data Integration, Data Warehousing, Databases, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, AI/ML concepts and products.
* Understanding of enterprise IT architectures and data strategies.
* Ability to manage all sales cycle aspects from prospecting to enterprise-wide contract negotiations.
* Ability to present technical concepts and business solutions clearly through demonstrations and proposals.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills to engage with diverse customer roles (C-suite, executives, subject matter experts, enterprise architects).
* Strong organizational, prospecting, and follow-up skills.
* A team player with high integrity.
* Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or engineering; MBA preferred, or equivalent work experience.
