Concept Engineer for Sensing and High Voltage (f/m/div)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced High Voltage and Sensing Expert to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing innovative high voltage power conversion and sensing systems for automotive applications. Your responsibilities include:
1. Designing the Power Supply Concept and Sensing Architecture for Automotive Battery Management Systems.
2. Breaking down stakeholder requirements and application assumptions into block-based requirements for architectural high voltage and sensing components.
3. Handling High Voltage and Sensing IP across all platforms within Automotive Microcontroller.
4. Collaborating with platform lead architects to develop a modular and scalable family concept strategy.
5. Driving innovation in line with company strategy, anticipating industry and market trends.
6. Modeling concepts to create references for further development.
7. Cooperating with technical marketing, system architects, software development, design teams, and other business lines.
8. Acting as the interface between application engineering and development teams, promoting knowledge transfer.
9. Creating technical documentation to ensure ISO26262 compliance and impart implementation know-how.
Ideal candidate profile:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
* At least 5 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor or automotive industry.
* Familiarity with automotive microcontrollers and market trends.
* Experience working in multicultural environments and across sites.
* Strong cross-functional communication skills.
* Deep understanding of Analog-Mixed Signal Design, high-voltage power converters, and system optimization.
* Experience with Functional Safety, DfT for high-precision analog, and Battery Management Algorithms.
* Knowledge of ESD/latch-up, EMC/EMI, packaging, Power & Signal Integrity.
* Understanding of ADC/DAC types, filters, and low-noise analog systems.
* Ability to optimize design choices considering automotive safety and EMC.
* Excellent English skills; German language skills are a plus.
What we offer:
Competitive salaries and additional benefits based on experience and qualifications. Employment follows the collective agreement for electrical and electronics industry employees, group H. The salary is paid 14 times per year, with potential for higher compensation based on expertise.
