Together with our customers in the automotive industry, we develop, test and industrialize innovative Lithium-Ion Battery packs for hybrid and electric vehicles. The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz. Your core responsibilities are: * Performing structural simulations on component and system level e.g. durability, crash and static analysis * Taking an active role in developing battery system concepts in a cross functional team, from acquisition to series development * Improvement and development of simulation methods * Support on system test and measurement data analysis * Internal and external presentation of results What you need is: * Completed technical education (preferably studies in mechanical or automotive engineering, physics) * Several years of experience in simulation of battery systems is desirable * Professional knowledge of FEM relevant programs - preferably LS-Dyna, Ansa, FemFat/FemSite (fatigue) * Expert Competence in implicit and explicit simulation methods * Excellent team and communication skills * Systematic approach, high level of commitment and responsibility Our offer for you: With regard to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we offer the following annual gross remuneration (full time/38.5 hours) as a basis for negotiations for this position: EUR 53.500,- We also offer a market-standard overpayment depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.
