Solutions Architect – Data Platform (f/m/d)
Your Tasks
* Design, build, enhance and maintain scalable data lake architectures and data flows on Azure and Databricks
* Develop and operate robust data pipelines for batch and streaming workloads
* Define and continuously optimize data models as foundation for BI and Data Science use cases
* Develop and maintain data ingestion solutions from diverse sources such as:
o Industrial IoT/sensors
o Azure Blob Storage
o Integrate SAP data into the data platform ERP/CRM/MII
o B2B/B2C platforms
o APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud services
* Define, implement and enhance a target operating model for the data lake & data platform
* Develop a corporate data strategy and governance principles
* Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines
* Orchestrate workflows using Databricks Asset Bundles
* Optimize data storage, retention and processing for performance and cost efficiency
* Ensure reliable operations through monitoring, troubleshooting and 2nd/3rd level support
* Perform data transformation and enrichment to enable advanced analytics and AI solutions
* Collaborate with business departments to understand their requirements
Your Profile
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Informatics, or similar technical field
* Strong experience with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred) including services like Databricks and Azure Data Lake
* Hands‑on experience in building ETL/ELT data pipelines
* Proficiency in data modeling & data architecture
* Knowledge of programming/scripting (Python preferred, Spark, SQL, Terraform is a plus)
* Knowledge of DevOps principles
* Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and structure
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross‑functional teams
* Fluent English, additional languages a plus

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 3,243.59 per month based on full‑time employment (38.5 h/week). We offer a higher and market conform remuneration depending on experience and qualification, besides attractive employee benefits.
