AOP Health is the European pioneer for integrated therapies for rare diseases and in critical care. To enhance our team in Vienna we are looking for a:
Senior Manager Treasury who will lead global treasury activities and ensure sustainable funding of our growth strategy. You will safeguard liquidity, manage financial risks, and act as a strategic partner for pipeline investments, licensing deals, and international expansion.
What Your Day To Day Will Look Like
Liquidity & Cash Management
Lead global cash positioning and forecasting (short- and long-term)
Optimize working capital and intercompany funding structures
Ensure sufficient funding for R&D, clinical programs, and operations
Financing & Capital Structure
Support debt financing and capital market transactions
Evaluate funding strategies for clinical development, M&A, licensing, and CapEx
Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions
Risk, Operations & Governance
Develop and execute FX and interest rate hedging strategies
Oversee cash pooling, bank accounts, and treasury systems
Ensure robust internal controls and regulatory compliance
Maintain strong treasury governance and support audits
Strategic Business Partnering
Collaborate with FP&A, Business Development, and Commercial teams
Support financial modelling and funding strategies for pipeline investments, licensing and M&A
Your Qualifications And Experience
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar
CFA, ACT, CTP, or similar certification is a plus
8+ years of treasury or corporate finance experience
Experience in pharma, biotech, or life sciences preferred
Strong expertise in cash forecasting, hedging instruments, and financial modelling
Experience with TMS and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Initial leadership experience and strong stakeholder management skills
Strategic mindset with operational execution capability
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment
High integrity and strong governance orientation
Strong analytical and risk assessment skills

Due to legal requirements, we are obliged to disclose the collective agreement minimum salary, which is EUR 49.840,- gross per year, based on full-time employment. However, our actual remuneration packages are market-oriented and aligned with your qualifications and professional experience.
