The Role
Joining our Digital Technology Platforms team and reporting to the Digital Technology Platforms Lead, as a Senior Project Service Specialist you will play a crucial part in the successful implementation and delivery of our projects. As a subject‑matter expert in Microsoft Project Server, you will develop, implement, and provide technical guidance to ensure reliable solutions for stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
Identify and implement upgrades or transitions to SaaS environments.
Provide expert administration and development in Microsoft Project Server (on‑premise and Online) and related M365 technologies.
Collaborate with business and technical subject‑matter experts to design and deliver Project Server solutions aligned with user requirements.
Support testing and deployment, resolve issues, and contribute to exception reporting and action planning.
Partner with Enabling Technology Platform Teams, customers, and external suppliers.
As a key member of the Digital Technology Platforms Team, you will contribute to the delivery of a high‑performing, accountable function that supports Airservices Australia’s commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, workplace health and safety, risk management, and compliance.
Qualifications
Appropriate tertiary or industry‑specific qualifications or evidence of relevant equivalent professional experience.
Subject matter expert in Project Server Administration with demonstrable experience.
Extensive technical experience with Microsoft Project Server 2016 and Project Online.
Competent with SQL Server database management, T‑SQL development, SSIS, and SSRS.
Knowledgeable with PowerBI and reporting tools.
Experience in system administration, patching, PowerShell scripting, and managing Project Server capabilities.
Proven leadership skills and experience, particularly in a project deliverable environment.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Hold unrestricted Australian Work Rights to support AGSVA security clearances.
