Job Description:
Assume full responsibility for a team of analog design engineers in Power Management Integrated Circuits. This includes technical leadership, team and individual development, and performance management.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Technical leadership: Guide the team, monitor progress, make decisions, perform reviews, and ensure project delivery within specifications, area, power, and timescale constraints. Manage cost, methodology, staffing, and ensure adherence to procedures and industry standards. Keep abreast of industry developments and drive continual improvements. Provide support to TPL for project execution.
2. Team development: Provide opportunities, monitor performance, conduct appraisals, and manage performance and development proactively.
3. Representation: Represent the team internally and externally, assist with project acquisition, and contribute to corporate processes and strategy discussions. Communicate team goals and align them with company strategy. Interact with other managers and teams to ensure cohesion and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
* Typically 12–15 years’ experience in analog IC design and leadership.
* Proven track record from specification to production.
* Hands-on experience in Power Management circuits.
* Deep knowledge of design and verification methodologies.
* Leadership experience with performance management and hiring.
* Strong organizational, delegation, budgeting, and planning skills.
* Leadership qualities fostering collaboration and learning.
* Ability to develop budgets and work with senior management.
* Cultural sensitivity and results-oriented mindset.
* Ability to work independently and in teams, with flexibility for international travel.
* Excellent English communication skills.
* Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
