About The Role
We're looking for an experienced Financial Controller to own the financial control and accounting backbone of Dispensed. This is a hands‑on role focused on cash flow, balance sheet integrity, and financial accuracy across all brands and jurisdictions.
Reporting to the CFO, you'll work closely with external accounting partners and internal teams to ensure our numbers are clean, reconciled, and decision‑ready. While this is not a commercial finance role, it plays a critical part in enabling confident decision‑making across the business.
This role suits someone who enjoys building strong control environments, thrives in fast‑moving businesses, and isn't afraid to get into the detail.
What You’ll Own
* Own month‑end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting across all entities
* Maintain tight control over cash flow, working capital, and bank reconciliations
* Ensure inventory, settlements, and inter‑company balances reconcile accurately across regions
* Manage and coordinate external accountants, tax advisors, and auditors
* Review, approve, and occasionally process payments to support smooth operations
* Build, document, and improve accounting policies, controls, and SOPs
* Ensure GST, tax, and statutory obligations are accurate and on time
What You’ll Need
* CA or CPA qualified with 7‑10+ years' experience
* Audit‑trained (Big 4 or similar strongly preferred)
* Strong technical accounting and balance sheet capability
* Proven experience in multi‑entity or high‑growth environments
* Comfortable being hands‑on in an agile, fast‑moving business
* Strong systems and spreadsheet capability (Xero, NetSuite, GSuite, Excel etc.)
