Low Voltage System Assembly (LVSA) - Test Engineer (m/f/d)
This position is based at our manufacturing plant in Schrems, Austria.
What you’ll do
* Plan and execute all LVSA testing activities
* Develop and manage FAT procedures
* Design production test processes
* Lead FAT with customers and stakeholders
* Perform functional, protection, and communication testing
* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and system issues
* Ensure compliance with applicable standards
* Maintain complete and accurate test documentation
* Support continuous improvement of testing processes
Qualifications and Skills
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
* Fluent German (min. B2) and fluent English (min. B2)
* 3+ years of experience in electrical testing, preferably in LV switchgear, panel building, or system assembly
* Strong understanding of low voltage electrical systems, protection devices, and control circuits
* Knowledge of international electrical standards (IEC 61439, UL 508A, etc.)
* Experience with testing equipment and measurement tools
* Problem-solving and analytical thinking
* Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
What we offer
* Performance‑oriented remuneration of approximately EUR 60,000 gross per year, paid in 14 monthly instalments, with potential overpayment based on qualifications and experience.
