Anton Paar – International corporate group with around 50 subsidiaries worldwide.
As Director of Finance (f/m/x) at Anton Paar, you report directly to executive management and take responsibility for financial planning, controlling, accounting, and liquidity management. You will lead a division consisting of several strong teams and drive digital finance solutions.
Job Description
Lead and further develop the Finance division, including Accounting, Controlling, Group Controlling, and Treasury.
Manage, support, and develop the team (~5 direct reports, ~15 employees).
Take responsibility for financial planning and budgeting for the international Anton Paar GmbH Group.
Manage liquidity planning and financial reporting to ensure a solid basis for decision‑making.
Actively participate in management board and supervisory board meetings.
Implement and continuously optimize financial processes and tools in close collaboration with IT and Business Process Management.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements in the areas of Compliance & Risk Management.
Actively contribute to projects (e.g., M&A) to support strategic corporate goals.
Qualifications
Completed degree in economics or business administration with a focus on Finance, Accounting, or Controlling.
Several years of professional and leadership experience.
Solid knowledge of accounting, controlling, and financial management.
Strong experience with modern financial IT tools, e.g., SAP FI/CO.
Distinct leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a hands‑on mentality.
Business‑fluent German and English skills.

We offer a fair and market‑aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to regional conditions of the Styrian labour market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is €6 000 (full‑time). Your actual gross salary will be individually determined based on your experience and qualifications.
