Your future responsibilities
Aspartof theBusiness Development team,you willbe responsible forstrategic and operational business developmentofthedivisionSensor Systems.This includesdiscovering and developing new business areasand sales markets,maintainingexistingones,andfinding new customers and partners.You will be strongly engaged in improving and promoting the SAL brand nameand willrepresentSAL at national and international events.
You will workcloselywith the management,otherbusiness developersand researchers of the divisionand SAL. You will foster inter-divisional cooperationsto createadded value anda unique selling proposition.
Your future tasks include
Discovering and developing new business areas andmarkets
Develop and support marketing measures
Developing existing business areas
Creating newbusinessopportunities
RepresentingSAL and the division atconventions,conferences,meetingsand industry events(with presentations)
AcquiringindustrialR&D projects in Austria and Europe
Supportingresourcesand asset planning.
Contributing to strategicroadmapdevelopment
Contribute tothe sales process (quotation,contract, …)
Increase existing and develop new domain knowledge

Your profile
You are passionate about innovation and research and development projects, with a strong experience in business development and background in electronics, electrical engineering, physics or equivalent. Your open and outgoing personality, combined with excellent communication skills, create a highly cooperative spirit.
Experience in business development, sales,marketingor related field
5 years experience in the relevant industry (e.g. sensors, electronics, microelectronics)
Strong network in the Austrian and international industrial eco-system forElectronics and Software BasedSystems
Entrepreneurialthinking
Education in bothengineeringandeconomics
Soundtechnicalunderstanding
Teamplayer
Excellentcommunicationskills
Fluent in GermanandEnglish
