Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled
Desktop Support Engineer
to provide onsite technical support for end users in
Weiz, Austria
. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues in an enterprise IT environment and be comfortable working fully onsite.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide
onsite desktop and deskside support
to end users.
* Install, configure, and troubleshoot
Windows OS, laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals
.
* Diagnose and resolve issues related to
hardware, software, and basic network connectivity
(LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
* Handle
ticket management
using ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.).
* Perform
IMAC activities
(Install, Move, Add, Change).
* Support
Microsoft Office 365
, Outlook, Teams, and other enterprise applications.
* Coordinate with remote IT teams and vendors for issue resolution and escalations.
* Maintain asset inventory and documentation.
* Ensure adherence to
SLA and IT support processes
.
* Provide user guidance and basic training when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* 2–5 years of experience in
Desktop / End-User Support
.
* Strong knowledge of
Windows 10/11
, Active Directory (user account management, password resets).
* Experience with
hardware troubleshooting
(Dell/HP laptops, desktops).
* Basic knowledge of
networking concepts
(TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
* Experience with
ticketing tools
and ITIL processes.
* Good communication skills in
English
(German is an advantage).
* Willingness to work
5 days onsite in Weiz, Austria
