Role Summary
As a Sales Engineer, you are responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with key customers and trade organizations, understanding and solidifying purchase agreements, customer alliances and market trends. You will also develop a keen understanding of Flowserve operations to enhance the selling of pumps and mechanical seals.
Your role
1. Serve customers as primary contact for all business dealings, ensuring all customer concerns are addressed including proposals, deliveries, repairs, quality, warranty claims, etc.
2. Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with regional sales objectives to support organizational goals
3. Educate customers on the quality, features and uses of our products through the full use of the company’s marketing materials
4. Collaborate with application engineers, customer service, and manufacturing to ensure customers’ needs are met
5. Demonstrate financial acumen to discuss business decisions, particularly return on investment in support of solution selling
Your profile
6. BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experience
7. Excellent knowledge of the English and Czech
8. Sales experience with rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, mixers and mechanical seals
9. Experience in the power, paper and chemical/general industries
10. Proficient in technology such as Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
11. Training in sales techniques, negotiations and business finance
12. Experience in meeting preparation and management
13. Ability to lead root cause failure analysis and communicate results
