Digital Transformation Consultant (m/f/d)
Location: Vienna office.
Lead strategic initiatives that revolutionize how biopharmaceutical companies operate. The Digital Transformation Consultant plays a pivotal role in guiding biopharmaceutical organizations through the strategic adoption and integration of digital technologies. This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, data-driven decision-making, and innovation across R&D and manufacturing.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute digital transformation strategies aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
* Identify opportunities for digital innovation across the value chain (e.g., clinical trials, manufacturing, quality control, pharmacovigilance) while considering Körber products, especially PAS-X Savvy.
* Conduct digital maturity assessments and gap analyses.
* Recommend and support the implementation of the digital cloud platform PAS-XS Savvy, connected to data lakes, lab equipment, and automation tools.
* Support the adoption of advanced analytics, modular approaches, and visualization in drug development and production.
* Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
* Develop data science solutions as requested with Python or REST API to interface with the configured PAS-X Savvy software.
* Lead change management initiatives at the customer to foster a digital-first culture.
* Design and deliver training programs for stakeholders on new digital tools and processes.
* Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure user-centric transformation.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences or Engineering.
* Advanced degrees (MBA, PhD) are a plus, especially with a focus on digital innovation or biotechnology.
* Biotech domain knowledge preferred (chemical engineering also favored) with a strong understanding of biopharma processes (clinical development, manufacturing).
* Knowledge and experience with Python and SQL.
* Proficient Business English.
* Team-oriented disposition / comfortable working with an interdisciplinary team (Biotechnologists, Computer Scientists, Statisticians).
* Highly autonomous and results oriented in tight timelines.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Data Science or Bioprocess engineering ambition and desire to apply newly developed tools and approaches in the field of biotechnology.
Optional Knowledge Favored
* Familiarity with digital tools like Veeva, SAP, LIMS, MES, and data visualization platforms.
* Familiar with Linux, Docker or Databricks.
* Cloud instance set up and configuration.
* Curious about technologies such as AI/ML, cloud computing, data analytics, and automation.
