Linux Administrator (m/f/d)
Your area of responsibility
* Plan, operate and monitor hybrid infrastructure (cloud/on-premises)
* Develop and document best practice procedures for deployment and maintenance
* Drive continuous monitoring and optimisation of system performance and resource usage
* Increase automation and shift to infrastructure as code
* Containerize & automate workflows and products
* Strengthen overall security, especially endpoint protection
* Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to proactively enhance infrastructure efficiency
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, reliable architectures
Your qualifications profile
* Experienced in supporting operational server systems
* LPIC, Ansible, Terraform, or Kubernetes certifications preferred
* Solid IT infrastructure knowledge; interest in Kubernetes or configuration management specialization
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git
* Advanced Linux skills
* Proficient in English, conversational German advantageous

* MERKUR BETS offers a gross salary starting at EUR 3.800.-- per month (40 hrs/week) for this position, which exceeds the collective bargaining agreement, with corresponding additional payment offered in accordance with specific qualifications and experience.
