As a Supply Chain Quality Manager – High‑Volume Parts, you will play a key role in driving quality excellence and improvement across our global value chain. You will shape and implement quality assurance processes that strengthen supply‑chain quality and resilience, ensuring long‑term value.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement robust supply‑chain quality strategy, framework, and processes for high‑volume manufacturing (PPAP).
* Define and maintain quality standards, procedures, and documentation such as control plans and work instructions.
* Establish and manage quality gates and processes with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Lead process validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) and ensure production readiness.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Suppliers, Quality Inspection, Logistics and Production) to meet quality requirements.
* Identify and mitigate technical risks early, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Serve as the quality representative for high‑volume parts, ensuring early integration of quality standards and leveraging lessons learned.
* Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
* Establish statistical process control methods and monitor key quality metrics.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
* Manage non‑conformance processes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management or a related field.
* Several years of experience in quality engineering within a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
* Experience with process validation and industrialization.
* Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including APQP, PPAP, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Proactive, self‑driven, and accountable – able to identify opportunities, take ownership, and deliver measurable improvements.
* Excellent collaboration skills across cultures and organizational levels.
* Fluent in English and German.
* Willingness to travel internationally, up to 10 %.
* Minimum 1 year of work experience; Secondary school education acceptable.
